Unlike the green screen, which uses the chroma key feature to remove it, the best way to get rid of the black background in CapCut is to use the Filter effect in the Splice menu. Here are the steps.
- Create a new project in the CapCut application.
- Add a photo or video instead of a black background that will be removed.
- Open the Overlays menu.
- Tap Add overlay.
- Add the black background video that you have.
- Open the Splice menu.
- Choose the Filter effect and set its opacity to 100.
